6 Simple Ways to Lessen Anxiety by Raising Your Confidence Part 2

In my two previous blogs Word of the Year and 6 Simple Ways to Increase Your Confidence, I share insights on how this came to be for me. I do not know about you, but I am sick of people talking about things they have never been through.

Anxiety

It is a feeling of worry, nervousness, or unease, typically about an imminent event or something with an uncertain outcome.

Anxiety can shatter one’s life, relationships and so much more.

The biggest crush is the one to you. I am talking about disappointment. How many times have you tried to not worry- “I’ve got this,” and then whamo, 10 steps backwards. It is a vicious cycle that is often misunderstood.

Misunderstood

Anxiety, Misunderstood, Raising Confidence Magical BlessingsA lack of confidence can bring forth much anxiety and vice versa. Once upon a time, I was fearless, nothing and no one could smash my hopes and dreams. I was a master manifestor and the epitaph of confidence. Unfortunately, a family circumstance began to seep its vengeance into me. The scariest part is that the divergence was not obvious . It was a slow unseen infiltrator.  Little by little worry and doubt began to show up. It festered in such a way that was mostly oblivious to me. Experience after experience brought forth illness and I was provide my continuance of living via another’s donated bones.

This time it became much more intense. Just what is happening?

I became an anxiety machine, but not the kind that was out in the open. Rather I was a closet anxiety mongrel. This lead to an unhealthy domestic violence relationship and the anxiety grew worse.

I do not write this for pittance, rather for your relief.  I understand what it is like to have no fear, become full of fear and work this out of my system. Been there done that and I am still evolving, exploring and growing

Blasting Through The Anxious Worry

Anxiety, Raising, Raise, Confidence, Magical BlessingsIn order to heal, I needed to deeply forgiveness myself for being lead into this matter. Next, I cleared myself over and over with much love, light and plenty of those who held the key for me to heal. I just had to ask for these keys. Sorry, there is not one answer. Rather it is like having a personal riddle to unraveling.

Unraveling I did, along with disavowing, dispelling and anything from this or past life times.  This takes patience, tears ( well at least for me). I used to not cry and now, oh boy watch out. That’s okay I realized that this is not a curse, but a benefit to feel so deeply. And it is also okay to ask for assistance; there have been times when I really tried to clear something from me, but I am too close, so I needed others to help me.

Real and Raw 

Anxiety became my go to fall down and fall back. Again, I am not looking for pity, rather let my experience be your teaching tool and key to your success.

Turning the Key to Success

As I began to turn the key, I found less anxiety. Most of all I began to see through the clearing my dashed confidence. Step by step I discovered ways that built my confidence. Each step of confidence made me less anxious. This is to not say that I do not have anxiety, I do; it was much less.

Anxiety is my Super Power

Sounds silly, crazy and it probably is; yet, I feel so deeply and discovered what my anxiety looks like and feels like. This helps direct and guide me to boost my confidence.

6 ways to Lessen Your Anxiety and Raise Your Confidence

  1. Give yourself opportunities for you to succeed. No one gets to measure how big or small your opportunity is; this is yours and yours alone. Own it. Succeed at it. Boost you up!
  2. Practice how to handle life’s stressors. The art of practice and the art of talking to yourself is a great tool. This can help you prepare for an opportunity. It can help you weave in and out of the emotions, fear and help you soar to success.
  3. I am so much more when I am me Authenticity Authentic Truth True YouUse Lavender. This is a great plant and essential oil to help soothe, calm and relax you. If you are a lady dab 1-2 drops on a cotton ball and tuck this in your bra.  Or as a dude, you could dab 1-2 drops on a cotton ball and tuck this in your shirt pocket. Voila a great aroma and aromatherapy at the same time to soothe and calm you.
  4. Explore something new for you. Go an adventure new or re-visit an adventure. I used to pick a place on a map and go hike in a park. I discovered so much about me while exploring the beauty of nature.
  5. Move your body. Get up, get a movin. Even if it is for 15 mins. move your body. This could be gentle stretches, yoga, a nice stroll. Kick it up and run if you like.
  6. Just Do it! Don’t even give yourself time to think about it. This is a major anxiety stressor and opportunity killer. Count backwards 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 and boom do it.

Create 

The definition to create is to bring something into existence.  This is about bringing something forward with a joyful heart. Not everyone takes pleasure in the same creative journey. That’s the beauty of creative expression is the truly unique Self expression that belongs solely to you; this is yours and yours alone.

We are energy light beings who thrive on energy.  This energy very much brings us expansion. The creative energy surges forth and asks us to create.  It is like your Sacral Chakra lights up and poof your magic begins.

 

Sexual Energy

A misstep of sexual energy  can occur when the Sacral Chakra is out of tune and misaligned. This can be over the top or none at all. We are created via the Divine for procreation, sensual and sexual energies to bring forth these creations.  However, we also not designed to forgo.  The American culture seems enamored with female breasts; the more the better in most movies.

Other cultures look to the female yoni/womb as the most sensually alluring.  This is the preemptiveness of the creative flow within. Allowing the sexual energy to flow also helps the expressive ways to come forward.  Suppression of sensual/sexual disallows the overall continuance of another.

 

Energy Express 

Energy can be clouded, convoluted and/or stuck.  It is about an open flow of giving and receiving. Ponder a light bulb, when the conduit is open the energy current flows and there is light. When it is shut off then there is no energy and there is no light- no energy.  Your energy being Self works in the same manner.  When you are in the flow, you are open and allowing to give and receive. When you are not, then your are stuck or blocked from that pattern of the Divine to creatively express yourSelf.

 

Self expression

Not everyone has the same interests, creative skills or Self Expression.  This is the beauty to use all of your senses: see, hear, smell, taste and touch.  Essentially, this is about Self Expression. What is in you that can come forth if you so choose to allow this?

Since, we all have differences what is created via self expression is a echo of a joyful soul. The most inward, endearing moments.  Not all joy has bells and whistles.  How one chooses to express themselves is part of the evolution of the soul.  Releasing and letting go of that which no longer serves you is part of the creation of giving and receiving.

Not all Self Expression is in the form of Art. This is anything that is brought into existence.

How often have you thought it must be a certain way or it does not count or why bother?

You are Uniquely, Quirky YOU and you deserve to Express yourSelf in a manner that makes your heart happy.  So, if you enjoy working on cars that brings forth peace to a motor to run smoothly, so be it.  If you enjoy writing from your heart, so be it.  If you enjoy any form of a hobby that brings something into existence and you have a happy heart as a result of this; this is the epitome of Creative Self Expression.

6 Ways of Creative Self Expression

  • Sing or Play an Instrument (even if your are singing along in your car; this is a way for your heart to bring forth your happiness and joy)
  • Write (Journal, write a blog, write a poem or book)
  • Use a Thesaurus (find different ways to say the same thing-Happy: Joy, Delighted, Content)
  • Draw or paint your feelings
  • Dance or move your body (through movement)
  • Role Play (act out, play a game, be someone else for a moment to show or practice expressing your feelings)

Six Easy Steps to Let Go & Be Happy

Let’s discuss and dismantle the worrier concern of the expected outcome.  In other words,  how to let go of expected outcomes and be happy.

 

 Let Go of Expected Outcomes

In my life I have found many times where I needed to ponder,  prepare,  and be ready for any outcome.  I am the mom of 2 gentlemen on the Autistic Spectrum. Due to this,  I needed  to be prepared for what could be a potential meltdown.  My boys were born with part of the Autism and genetical predisposition of anxiety, worry and so forth.  This led us down a very unique and different road.

What is an Autistic Meltdown

An autistic meltdown can be described as placing oneself under the brightest light you can possibly imagine,  the loudest volume & sound that you can possibly imagine,  and speaking in a foreign language with the notion that the speaker does not seem to comprehend that the individual that is receiving the information does not understand or is super overwhelmed; the expectation is to just get over it. Thus, with this being said,  it can lead to meltdowns of monstrous proportions.  When the Meltdown stage is happening it is too late and now it is about waiting, allowing an autistic individual to feel comfortable, be trusting and be able to move forward.  Some may need a 15 minute recovery, and some may take even longer.  There is no one way, there is no one stop shop and what worked yesterday may not work today.

 

Learning a New Dance to be happy

As I child I was very connected to my Divine Intuitive Feminine energy. However, with my consistent and omnipresent state of preparation for anything as an Autistic parent, caused me to yield my mama bear instincts along with powerful predicted needs for my children and probable outcome.  Thus, this can create quite a complexity  and for me did so.

It is about learning the ebb and flow of the dance/game called life.  It is about being able to take a step forward knowing a potential outcome as well as being able to take a step back when the unknown filters cause you to recalibrate your course to a more golden path that is necessary for your outcome.  This is a placement of here ya go – God/ Spirit  I lay and pray my worry and concerns to you.  Then stepping back and letting it go.

 

Recalibrating the Course

My sons are now adults and have exceed anyone’s expectation.  Therefore, my needs have altered and changed; I no longer need to be prepared for The Final Countdown.  Rather it is allowing the flow of my intuitive qualities to shine forth in the most Divine manner.  It is not an easy road nor awful road to go down. It is part of my journey. Letting go, unraveling, releasing, and clearing the clutter from an energetic standpoint  and belief system. My family is also notorious for preparing for the worst,  which in itself has its perks and its downfalls.

This is re-learning way of being. There is nothing wrong with how you made it this way nor the path that you’ve traveled.  It is about unlearning, remembering, undoing and be willing to begin again.  To never give up no matter what.  This takes on a whole other state of being. The state of being able to go with the flow,  to release the expected outcome,  and to be okay with what may be- unknown.

 

Ways to Overcome Expectations:

  1. In Zen there is the shoshin. This is a way to say coming with an empty cup or a beginner’s mind.  Being able to happen upon any circumstance with an open mind and an empty cup. This is about allowing the spiritual knowing and then to fill your cup
  2. See as if you are a child.  Close your eyes and see through the eyes of a child.  Pretend you’ve never seen this before and what a beautiful Wonder this is.
  3. Let go of Shoulda, Woulda, Coulda.  These offer nothing but worry, resentment and an obnoxious attachment to the outcome.  If you catch yourself using these terms stop close your eyes and take three deep breaths.  Then let it go.
  4. Purge and declutter your space.  When you hold onto an object,  items and such you are also holding on to a memory shell the possible outcome rather than what could possibly come forth.  When you let go of things that no longer serve you. This allows more to come to you in a whole new way.
  5. Practice receiving. Be grateful for any gift that you were receiving.  It is not about the actual gift rather it is about the appreciation and the beautiful loving feelings that flow from the gift.
  6. Be sure to clarify.  Your personal point of view/ perspective may have an obscure way of seeing something that may not even be there.  Yet, if you clarify this takes away the presumptive expectation. Thus, allowing freedom to bring forth beautiful peace and harmony.
