The world sees you by the way that you present yourself: real, false or maybe even presumed. I pose a difficult question: What if your presentation is unauthentic and a fabricated nuance of your true self? What if you are hiding from you?

Why Put on a Mask

This article is all about writing and discovering your dark truth. Writing is a powerful way to unravel the truth and be super honest with yourself.

Trauma could be the reason that you put on a mask. It’s a cover to hide your true feelings from others and possibly yourself. Unfortunately sometime sit’s easier to hide the painful wounds rather than face truth.

Better understanding the Hiddden Factors

Let’s go through darkness to add light to the wound. You have two choices continue on as before. Or rip off the bandage, and allow light to enter the wound, so that you may rediscover your truth.

Set the timer for five-ten minutes. Write or type whatever comes up.

Invision this: When you’re ill, you put on a mask. Are you telling the world that you’re ill? Is your illness false pretentions?

When you are no longer ill, you don’t need to wear a face mask. Take off the mask. Show up as you. Now how do you feel?

Bleeding Wounds

Let’s get real. Let’s get raw. Are your wounds bleeding on others in your present world that had nothing to do with the original wound?

It does no one any good to continue as usual. Yes, you’re gonna have to rip the bandage away. Find solace in the fact that once you rip away that bandage, a deeper inner healing can occur.

Don’t you desire peace, happiness and joy?

To some this article may seem bleak and umber dark. This is authentic truth at its finest! If you desire to keep your life as is, go for it. If you wish for a more somber approach go for it. I am ready, willing and able to guide when your ready to face the hard core truth.

Adjust Your Approach to Triggers and Change Your Mindset

You decide to make a change in your life. It’s a big deal and you wanna go for it; but, you don’t know how, and you’ve not been provided the steps on how to make this change. You hear about adjusting your mindset, and attmept to create the change. However, it backfires and you feel like a failure. So, now what. It’s not to say that you’re unintelligent, and assuming that you have all the answers is unfair. We all have expertise, something that we’re amazing at.

The old idea (fake it until you make it) is fading away and authenticity is much more powerful. It doesn’t mean that you have to have all the answers. I love driving my car, but I don’t desire to be the one to repair it when it breaks down; therefore, I go to an expert called the mechanic. It’s a win-win.

The same thing is true about how to identify what’s  a trigger. As well as how to effectively dissolve the trigger in a manner that works, and is not destructively ineffective.

Thus, this allows you to break a pattern. It is the acknowledgement and the recognition that brings forth the healing. This allows you to move through your emotions and feelings in a positive manner when you’re able to identify what upsets you and/or creates anxiety.

It’s going to be okay, and it’ll take a bit of adjustment and some time. Soon you’ll be about work with and through your emotions. This empowers your own personal development. Which can set you eons apart from those who have not learned how to effectively communicate with their inner being and soul.

How incredible is that? I don’t know about you, but I’m excited to be able to share this personal development tool and help your soul grow. Self-compassion and self-love are powerful empowerment tools.

Be patient with yourself. It takes time to unravel and undo learned behaviors and patterns. Think of this as a way to adjust your thought patterns from a negative to a more positive solution and outcome.

How to recognize a trigger:

A trigger is when you feel uncomfortable. As if you’re feeling uncomfortable in your own skin, afraid, anxious, or mad. Basically it’s your emotions. Next time you get triggered go through this process.

  • Stop allowing your emotions to control you.
  • Except that you have emotions.
  • Recognize that using your emotions to feel is your superpower.
  • Recognize when you feel uncomfortable.
  • Allow yourself to feel: whether it be sad, mad, happy.
  • Be honest with yourself. For example if a friend or relative shares good news and you feel envious. That’s an emotional trigger
  • Have you realized that when you’re having a conversation with another that a particular emotion or feeling emotes sensation that is uncomfortable and you just wished end the conversation as soon as possible?
  • Have you realized that when you were hanging out with family or friends that a particular conversation is uncomfortable, and you feel?

Moving Through the Trigger

A great way to recognize emotional triggers is to journal. Use one of the writing prompts below or free write. Have a conversation with yourself on a piece of paper. This is a great way for you to express how you’re feeling, what emotions are showing up for you, in a safe manner that is reflective and constructive. Practice a conversation that you would like to have with someone in the mirror or in your journal but do not create a false expectation. you are not in control of anyone else’s reactions emotions or feelings. You can only take care of you in this manner, and that’s okay.

Writing Prompts:

  1. Write about a conversation you wish you could have.
  2. Create a timeline of small events that led up to a big event in your life.
  3. Write a poem about the greatest joy or the greatest sorrow in your life right now.
  4. Describe your greatest insecurity and why you struggle with it.
  5. Choose a song that emotes deep emotions. Why does it?
  6. What is your greatest source of guilt and how can you forgive yourself?

Maybe journaling is not your thing. Doddle an image and add words to this image.

Gentle Reminder:

Be sure to recognize. Every pattern and trigger has a cycle, and when you are learning, there may be an old pattern that wishes to stop the cycle. Disallow this occurrence. When you stop a cycle this cycle will recycle. This is part of personal development and soul growth that until the lesson is learned it will continue onward at any cost; however when you are learning I’m you stop the cycle this can create more havoc than is necessary. Allow yourself to release, let’s go of the outcomes and expectations and flow into the experience. It takes time to adjust I’m not okay one step at a time is better than no steps or motion at all.

Clearing Out the Babble

First of all, do not feel bad. This is a learned behavior. Yep, someone caused and created this deep within you. It may have occurred when you were little and you had no clue: Who, when or where. Or, this began when you were older through circumstances that left you feeling less than thereof.

Have you felt like you have to be a good little girl or good little boy even though you’re a grown ass adult? Unfortunately, been there done that; and so weary with whoever deemed what is a good girl or good boy. Seriously, who is in charge of this? We are all raised differently, and unless you are hurting yourself or another; is there really the notion of perfect good or bad?

Raging Storm

There is so much that can clutter your mental state and your eccentricities. Think of negative chatter as negative mental clutter and debris. Believe it or not, the human mind is conditioned to go to the negative much more than the positive. Deep within you is a worry, doubt, and sloth-like movement of inertia, restlessness, hatred, competition and much more. Hence, why it is so much easier to go to the negative. It is engrained and instilled in us from the moment conception brings forth a fetus. Think of this as if the amniotic fluid brewed this into us, and we may be doomed from the beginning.

I am safe

Ultimately, you desire to be safe. Showing others your power & wisdom may not have gone so well in the past; thus, safety is where you felt you needed to stay. This need for safety creates a cringe in your soul; dear heart it is only an opinion; it may have been a mistake; but by golly, it is not a life sentence.

Thereupon, we are surrounded by opinions which can cause much grief. Perspectives that do not match society are often frowned upon. Who is the “police, judge and jury?” of such ideas. There are so many righteous groups; but, they are not right. It’s an opinion, and not everyone has the same opinion.

Your perspective is a valuable fresh way to look at the old. Sometimes the old is great and can continue on as such; however, there are times when the good old days or ideas need a fresh new viewpoint.

Stardust

Think of negative mental chatter as dust that can be swept and blown to the wind. Once the negative is removed; you can then see the stardust that exists. You, my dear heart are stardust. You are meant to shine like that star that you are. Your perspective is yours alone; no one else can do what you can. Some may try to copy or pretend to be you, but you were created as an individual miracle; therefore no one can do or be you. Be one with the sky: sparkle and shine the gloriousness that is you.

Fractal Enlightenment 

A fractal is a geometric or physical structure irregular or fragmented shape. Sacred geometry provides us a way to see things in a much unique aspect. This can help you to feel fulfilled. We are all seeking a deep gratification. Unfortunately, we are taught that this is outside of us. However, this begins within us. We are much like a fractal; an irregular shape. We are all unique and different; just as our thoughts and perspectives. This is what makes us so amazing!

Through fractal enlightenment, you are removing yourself from the default setting. This is the fetus setting that we are pre-programmed with. At one point in time, those who birthed us and raised us began to assimilate and pawn their beliefs upon us. As the good soldiers, we graciously lapped this up.

Suddenly, somewhere deep within us we awaken and wonder what in the hell did we agree to the polar opposite of what we are here to do. Much of what we are here is to perform to the best of our knowledge that which our soul knows. It is the allowance and breaking through the norm. Our magic is deep inside us; fractal enlightenment helps provide a way for us to break free. This is moving from the unconscious to the subconscious; or allowing ourselves to be more mindful. Gone is the need for competition with another and instilled is the necessity to acquire the vastness that is deep within.

This brings forth the question of the status quo and you stretch out of your comfort zone; seeking ways of engagement that your soul came to learn and grow from this existence. There is nothing to stop you; you grow beyond and align with the infinite. Thus, the joyous adventure begins. You actively seek ways for you to let go of the mental blocks, negative chatter and coordinate with your soul DNA blueprint. The best way to say this; is get out of your head; get out of your way, and you will soar like never before and beyond your imagination.
